Following the timeline of Lil Peep’s life it’s evident that his journey travels in and out of human frequencies. He tunes in and and tunes out through his recorded life, ultimately tuning into the ocean and going beyond the blue. The memoriam vinyl illustrates this trajectory and relationships in the form of sound frequencies.

Drug and alcohol culture has been hugely referenced in Rap music since its inception. From Snoop Dog’s “Gin and Juice”, to Lil’Pump’s “Drug Addicts”. Unfortunately a high percentage of rappers have fallen victim to overdoses, many dying too young. Which poses the question: is the music frequency in this genre the cause for addiction?
